Sailors Falls

Sailors Falls is a convenient almost roadside waterfall situated in the Hepburn Regional Park just south of the historic town of Daylesford.
Sailors Falls is a semi-circular sink in the landscape near Daylesford, with tall exposed columns of basalt and its own mineral springs. Sailors Falls is thought to be named after the sailors who jumped ship to seek gold in the area during the 1850’s gold rush.
